As a teacher I was always looking for new and fresh ideas that I could implement in the classroom. There are several websites that give helpful information. As a childcare director I often stare my teachers to these sites for information on classroom management, lesson planning, activities, and teaching tips.
Birth- PK
1. Preschool By Stormie
www.preschoolbystormie.com
This website was created by a Pre-K teacher. It is a place where teachers can share ideas, as well as benefit from the information the author shares. There are many helpful links on the website, however the link I find intriguing is the Teacher Preparation link. The information that is listed under this link will help any teacher create an effective classroom. The link provides information on behavior management, organization tips, learning centers, and parent involvement ideas.
2. Prekinders
www.prekinders.com
This website is an excellent resource for preschool teachers. The website was created by Karen Cox, who is a Pre-K teacher. If it can be used in a preschool classroom it can be found on this site. The site contains lesson plan ideas, activities, and printable worksheets, as well as teaching ideas and tips on classroom management.
K-3
1. Teacher Created Resource
www.teachercreated.com
This website is an educational publishing company that was created by Mary Dupuy Smith, who was a classroom teacher. The information on this site was created by teachers for teachers. It contains lesson plans, activities, and teaching tips. There is also a blog that gives information on Behavior Management, Classroom Management, as well other topics that will benefit a classroom teacher.

Through The Storm
Alot has happened in my life over the past 9 months. My son died on March 20, 2012, we funeralized him on March 24, 2012, he was cremated on March 26, 2012, and I was back to work on March 28, 2012. I was on autopilot for a long time. I would get out the bed and do the same things I would normally do. Sometimes I didn't know what was going on around me. Finally everything hit me and I had a break down on August 7, 2012. I've been out of work since then. I was diagnosed with Major Depressive Disorder. I've been put on several medications. Everyday is a struggle. I have so many people in my life now that make sure I'm ok. Just the same I have so called friends that have pushed me away. I don't why, maybe its because they don't know how to handle what I'm going through, hell I can't handle what I'm going through. I know I will never be the same again. I can never go back to who I was because the day my son died apart of me died with him. There is a part of me missing. I want to thank the people who have stuck by me through all of this. I truly love all of you <3 p="p">3>

I Didn't Know My Own Strength
A good friend told me that the best way to release the things I've been holding in is to write them down, so here goes. On March 20, 2012 I lost my oldest son. It was the worse experience of my life. I never imagined I would bury one of my children. There has not been a day that I haven't cried, some days are better than others. While dealing with my son's death my electric got cut off. During the process of trying to get that taken care of I found out my fiancee was cheating, and in the midst of all that my gas got cut off. At this point I felt my world was crashing down, I didn't think I could go on, but God had another plan. Just when I thought things were over God said they were just beginning. He removed me from a bad relationship and has carried me through every tumultuous ordeal I have been faced with these past few months. God never gives us more than we can bear, I didn't know I could make it through, I didn't know my own strength.
